So nothing terribly exciting has been happening, cept I was chatting to this guy on msn, he wants to meet up and stuff… hmmm…. his name is Boris. Can’t help but think of ‘Boris: the sneaky fucking russian’ (or Boris the Bullet Dodger, if you prefer) everytime I talk to him haha! And he is actually Russian! Anyway, I have his number, so who knows….

That reminds me, this funny thing happened while my friend was here last weekend. The other guy I’ve mentioned here before sent me a text while we were on the bus, so I said ‘ohh, guess who this is?!’ and my friend rattles off this huge list of guys!!! Here I was thinking I was a complete desert in the guy department. And she didn’t even guess the right one, and his name would mean nothing to her if I said it. But I didn’t want to announce to the whole bus that ‘it’s the one I thought I was pregnant to last month’ haha!

I also found out I have a lot more friends than I thought! I’ve only lived here for like 6 months, and I knew a couple of people who lived here already, and two of my cousins also moved here around the same time. Then I was organising my birthday dinner and had to stop inviting people! I was up to 12 and had a whole lot more in mind, but I didn’t want it to get too ridiculous, I want to be able to spend some quality time with them all. We’re going mexican, so I need to think of some mexican drinks to have, all I came up with was margarita and mojito.

What I actually came here to blog about, and is the reference to the title of this post, is that I have just studied my ass off! Blew off a fun quiz night at the pub with my flatmates for three hours of the reading about ageing populations and constitutions. That was after I was at uni for 7 hours today. TEN hours total. I think I did an avergage of ten hours a week last semester! Feeling pretty good about it though, I actually kind of enjoyed it… well I dunno about enjoyed, but it was okay, I could handle it.

AND before I hit the button, I just want to point out I managed to get a movie reference into a post! Woohoo!

Anyway, time for bed, another 10 hour day ahead of me tomoro! and then the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next, and the one after that ………. you get the picture!
