I have a house!
I have found somewhere to live! Which means I can leave this hostel ASAP, which unfortunately is 15th November at the earliest, so still two weeks away, but that’s cool. I’m gonna be living with another couple, but they speak english, so that’s a good start! They own the house, which can have it’s downsides, but there are lots of benefits too, no deposit, no bond, no fixed-term lease, no hideous upfront expenses. And they have the cutest puppy! I’ll admit, this was a HUGE selling point for me! I love dogs and really wanted to live in a house with animals. Unfortunately half the good sounding flats had cats, which I’m allergic to, and the other half were all summer places, there didn’t seem to be much in the way of decent long term flats. This was the first place I looked at, and I didn’t want to take it straight up without looking at other places, but there was nothing else even worth looking at! One that I did look at was totally wrong for me, another one where I stood up the guy cos he sounded so freaking dodgy, and all the rest had 5+ people in them, and I wanted 2 others max. So I went for this place, it’s also further away from town that I wanted, but it’s not too far, I can catch the train, which is expensive on a daily basis, but if you get a monthly unlimited pass it’s like $2 a day! So I think it will all work out…. cept for the bit where I have to pay the rent, haha! A job would be great… I’ve applied for like 15 at least though, just in the past two weeks, so hopefully interviews will start happening soonish too.

Yay! I hope you’re really happy at the new place. And good luck on the job search!
Thanks! I got a letter in the mail this morning, I’m onto the next stage at one of the jobs I applied for, got to go into tomoro for literacy/numeracy testing, yay!

Oh how exciting! Puppies are the bestest!
hehe, yep! Plus I’m probably gonna be jobless for a while, so it’ll just be me and the puppy for a while, we can hang out together allll day
