Reason # 983 why being fat sucks

WARNING: this is a TMI post, but it’s not something I could bring up on the phone with my BFF in front of my boy flatmate!! 

Reason #983: 

You can’t choose your own contraception methods. The Dr gives you the ‘Contraception - YOUR CHOICE’ brochure and asks you to pick your SECOND choice. Cos you’re too fat for your first choice.

I’m too old to be on the doorstep of the student health centre (part time study entitles to me to all the benefits of free medical care!) at 8am on a Monday morning for the ECP. And far too old to be trying to hide hickey’s at work with high collars and lots of hair. I can’t even remember the last time I had a hickey…. probably at the same time I last had the ECP, which had to be last century I’m sure. Seriously, far too old. Anyone ever had the IUD before they had kids? They don’t recommend it for the childless, but that’s about the only potentially viable option left :S

 

Just for you Tinsley: Tip #1 from the dietician. Breakfast should include a carb, a protein and a fruit. The carbs fill you up and the protein keeps that full feeling for longer. Don’t skimp on the servings, make sure you have full servings of whatever you decide to eat. I personally have porridge (1/2 C oats, 1/2 C milk, 1/2 C water, microwave for 2 minutes, it comes out perfect every time!) followed by a piece of fresh fruit.
