The weekends are good…

… but the weeks aren’t so great…

I’ve been here for a month. And he’s talking about it being a permanent move. I’ve started daily reminders of when I’m leaving, just to remind him this is a temporary solution!! I’m ready for my own space again. It’s way too soon for a permanent move. But overall, living with a bf again is going well. We have really good weekends together, I’m just not a morning person and for the most part I hate my job. And the fact that I have several essays to write and an exam to sit in the next month. And that I’m broke. I hate waking up to mess in the kitchen and I hate coming home and cooking in a messy kitchen. I really think the kitchen biggest issue to my general aggravated feelings during the week! Need to work on the whole house-training thing lol…

So I’m on leave all week from work, which means I can catch up on all my blog reading (duh! what else would study week be for…). So far the hiding the ’secret pleasure’ from bf is going well. He’s oblivious to m.y s.pace, be.bo, face-stop-with-the-effing-applications-book and blogs in general… though when he asked what coffeesoup.com was about, I had to fob it off with ‘just some dumb site’ :S (sorry!! It’s really a cool blog! ;) ). So thus far I am safe :)

On Saturday we headed north to check out this farm up the coast. By farm I mean the type where you pet the cute animals and feed them lots of unappetixing pellets. Not like the farms I’ve been to where they actually have sheep that are shorn a few times, knocked up and fed up, then culled for dog food! BF told me that he had been to a farm before. And I clarified which sort of farm, a or b. Then when we went back he told me that he never actually saw the animals at the farm, they just had lunch in a cafe and got ice cream… *sigh*. Very typical of him, leave out the important details that make ALL the difference. Clearly, having lunch in a cafe NEXT to a farm is not visiting the ACTUAL farm itself…. right?! Anyways, it was heaps of fun, in it’s own cheesy way. The animals were very cute, and came running as soon as they saw us coming by, they were better trained than P.avlov’s dog!

Cute calf!

Mail me (evilangel at hotmail dot com) if you want to be my flickr friend and see more cute baby animals! And the not so cute me ;)

  1. I go nuts when I don’t have my own space. I NEED to have it. Period.
