Making up the rules - NaBloPoMo

I’ve decided to take part in this months writing challenge, but I’m changing the rules. I’ve never been a regular blogger, and most of what I write is getting things off my chest and having a good old bitch. However, I feel like November is going to be a positive month for me, so in order to both blog more and write more positively, I’m going to attempt to blog every day. The catch? I’m sticking to business days, I’m going to write Mon-Fri for sure (and maybe the weekends if I feel like it, but I’ll probably save these posts for a writing block day). This gets around missing the first two days, and also makes it feel much more achievable for me. I really like Melissa’s idea of having a theme for each day of the week to keep on track, but I might adapt this and write down a list of ideas as I think of them so I’ll always have a topic at hand. Obviously there’s lots I can write about with my upcoming move, and I can also share some photos on the days where the words aren’t flowing. Hopefully this will settle me into a pattern of writing more often after November too and I’d like to get into the photography a bit more so I can share my life and thoughts visually too.

Wish me luck!

  1. I’m all for more pictures. I love photos!

I’m slowly getting to use my flickr account a bit more, I just need to take my camera some more places. Now it’s coming into summer here I’ll be out and about doing more walking. Next weekend I’ll be going to an island for a day trip, so will post plenty then
