I like the little elephant on the elephant. He he! I went off the pill a year ago for the first time in over ten years. I never had really not been on it, so I'm missing some of it's benefits. Perhaps I'll get back on it again one of these days. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

oooooh nice!!! I did get the instructions, thanks soooo much! I am not working on it yet though as I've started a project that I need to get done soon. I'm making this quilt to give to my mother for her birthday when she is here in October:

It's a surprise though so I can't write about it on my blog, even though I want to sooooo badly hehe

Gosh your poor little knees! I started hurting just reading about the accident, so I sure am glad you are starting to get some relief at last.

I wish I had some sort of health coverage. One of my fillings is chipped and I am anal about my teeth so naturally I want it fixed, but who has the money???

Off to check out the new store. (I'm waiting on a batch of goodies from Vista Print with all my new address info even though it's two months away!)

That's so weird about the nose blowing thing. I've been having those issues for the past week or two straight out of the blue. I take a decongestant because I now mine are allergy related and a sinus infect I can't kick, but just in case maybe try dusting out your room and vacuuming. You could be allergic to dust mites like me for all you know which kick your butt.

I'm in a similar situation with hating work and stuff right now. I'm trying super hard to focus on myself right now and improve myself. I hope you are able to get where you want to be. I am with you on the soul searching.

P.S. I'm stuck in bed and my incisions keep oozing blood in my knee. I can't wait to be back to normal.

Oh no - now you just know I'm going to have to go check these sites out. I have the worst paper and pen fetish of all! I'm glad you were able to find some goodies at Vista Print. I love them!

WOW this elephant is beyond amazing! You should be so very proud of yourself!

Thanks for stopping by, I am very proud of him! He turned out so well, I can't wait to make another one. The lady that took the class said we'd never want to again after messing around with all the fiddly sewing to put him together, but they are so cool that it's totally worth the effort.

How cute is that elephant? I have a few elephant softy patterns stashed in my 'Craft PDFs' folder but I'm yet to make any of them. I'm also not sure I could handle the random quilting thing as my brain thrives on order and symmetry but it sure looks great on your elephant.

Thanks! I couldn't resist signing up to the class when I saw him in the shop way back at the start of the year, I paid for it way back in January or February. I didn't really enjoy the randomness to begin with either, especially after taking the class where everything had to be just so (loved that one!). The first side of the elephant I planned carefully and made sure to alternate the fabrics and the embroidery stitching colours (you can't really see but I used that thread that changes colours, and I used two different colour schemes of it too), then the second side was such a rush that I just grabbed randomly, and had my foot flat to the ground getting the embroidery done. It really surpised me, I thought it would be quite obvious, but you'd never know the difference!
